Absolutely. Ed Van Der Elsken is brilliant. His photographic narrative of bohemian lifestyle in 1950s Paris is perfectly captured in this book, it’s truly beautiful. Had Vali not been in it, I would still want it to be apart of my collection. As a fan of Vali, though, there are a lot of gorgeous black and white photos of her as well as pieces of her art throughout. And actually, you can pick it up on amazon used for $22. x
