Thanks for the question :) </span><span>I was introduced to Vali through the wonders of the internet. I stumbled upon the blog</span><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><a href="http://www.sacredfamiliar.com">Sacred Familiar</a><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><span>(operated by the amazingly beautiful and kind friend of Vali, Julia Inglis) and it was true love from that point on. After I read a little bit about Vali online, I bought the book, Vali Myers: A Memoir by Gianni Menichetti and realized that I had an intensely strong connection to the woman Vali Myers, her art, her passion, her humor and her intoxicating fiery spirit. It made sense at the time that I should stumble upon Vali, that I should get to know her inside and out. The book really opened my eyes and my heart to things that I can’t totally explain, but if anyone has not read it, you absolutely should and not just as a lover of Vali but as someone who is in tune with all that is wild, esoteric, strange, spiritual and just genuinely passionate about creating. Her dedication to her animals and her art is unrivaled and these aspects of Vali are what has drawn me to her and what will continue to make me love her.</span><span class="apple-converted-space">  She lived fiercely and was completely unapologetic about her art and her lifestyle which, to me, are very inspiring qualities to have both as an artist and a human. He had her last pen nib, her old book (signed to him), and flyers for her studio and shows. He gave me the flyer in the photo, I was so, so gobsmacked.
